Default Wireless Router

I am trying to set up a wireless router in my upstairs room so I can connect to my gateway but it wont let my connect to the gateway from this one I have (Linksys). I guess because they say that this wireless router IS a gateway, but I know its possible. Can anyone tell me how I can go about configuring this.

You need to change the setting from Gateway to router in the config of the router. If you don't know how to do this, let us know what type of wireless router you are using and make sure you check your router documents.

Since this is possible, how exactly would I go about doing this with a Cisco 831 K9 and a D-Link DI-514
