If possible run the cable under the house. If you have a punchdown tool you could buy nice wall mount plugs. Just requires a little drill through the floor action.

Have you looked at powerline hardware Nihsnek?

A couple of Netgear's XE102 adapters would suit your situation perfectly.

Netgear Wall-Plugged Ethernet Extender Kit

They do a Wireless Extender kit too.
