Default Wireless Internet

I am registered with the Utility Warehouse for wireless internet - I can access the internet using an Ethernet cable connected to my Netgear wireless modem - and when I plug in the Netgear Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter in to my laptop it works wirelessly (after fiddling abit)....
but I cant access it using my Laptops own wireless adapter!!

Details of it are:

802.11b/g Wireless Adapter
Device Type: Network adapters
Manufacturer: Ralink Technology, Inc.
Location: PCI bus 2, device 4, function 0

Any ideas?

If you can tell me what this means...

I'll tell you what the problem is. Good Luck! (Jeopardy Theme Music)

Ok, in all seriousness, ...
You have to describe the connection... WEP? WPA? WPA2? Is the SSID visible? invisible? Help us help you!

It doesn't have a seperate program to use it! Its built in to Windows!

I double click it in Networks and it lists available wireless networks but doesn't find any.

disable your usb wireless connection in Network Connections. and enable your computer wireless. Sometimes, if both of they are enabled at the same time, it will not work
