make sure that the drivers for your wireless card are uptodate. If they are try to locate a driver just previous to it and use it. Sometimes the updated driver is flaky. Also make sure you have set up your card correctly by putting in the SSID and the WEP encryption key (exactly as in your router)..

I have same problem - same router (D-LINK)

but my PC is 10 Feet from the Router

The only different is my is disconnecting for 3 hours.

All my WEP and SSID are correct

When it connect work perfect 54 Mbs
but when Disconnect is minus -54MBs.

2 days ago The Router did 3 flips in the Air after face my coffee cup, it didn't help.

Any other Ideas?

Just a thought. Cordless phones that run at 2.4Ghz cam cause loss of signal on most wireless network. May not be the case here but just an FYI.

Radio interference can do that

Try switching it to a different channel, like 11

Also other wireless networks can do that, are their any other wireless networks around?

I found where is my problem.

Resently I update the firmware of the router D-Link DI-624 from v1.26 to v1.28.

Ok but didn't update the drivers for the Card of my laptop which is also D-link G650

Well I did it this mornig and VOLA.
It hook straigth after restart and all day is working with no problems.

Very Lucky router, I was planing to make Burial of my router today after work - in the garden - with glass of Wine and happy face.
But the little trouble maker start working.

Maybe you update the Firmware of your router and the W/Cards drivers as well.

Im glad it worked. It seems after reading alot of posts that their seems to be a high number of issues with firmware on these devices. I have a Cisco AP so I don't really have that problem. Its good to note however.. thanks and good luck.
