ok new update, i can ping only yahoo. but not google or any other site.
i did a tracert on yahoo and after it ran through one of the computers on my network, it timed out on the second loop, but after that it traced normally. what is going on...

i have the exact problem right now! i was able to surf the web before without any problem! i stopped using my laptop for surfing for a month and when i used ut again, i cant surf the net anymore but is says that it is connected.. but this time, i connected to a LAN and not on wifi like i always do beofre.. i tried to connect again through wifi but its not working too! help! do you think that i should reinstall windows or something??

when i tried to open IE without connection, a pop up came out from kaspersky anti virus asking me if i trust this progrm and i did put it in the trusted somethng somethng.. maybe because of that, the problem existed.. but i uninstalled kaspersky but still does nothing to my problem!
