Default Wireless adapter troubles

I am having a lot of issues getting my Linksys Wireless - B USB Adapter working (WUSB11 v2.8). I've tried everything I know, the installers for the drivers on the Linksys website are all bunk, as I click on the setup.exe a window displays and then quickly closes and no proccess is taken. Though, even without it, Windows recognized the USB Adapter and named it properly, it can even see the available networks, displays all the correct SSID's and such. But for some odd reason will not connect, any suggestions?

I really need help with this one, I've reformatted for it as well.

Thanks ^ ^

What do you mean it will not connect? Are you saying that you can see your routers wireless connection but when you try to connec to it, it doesn't work? Is it giving you an error?
