| I use a Belkin wireless adaptor, to receive my net connection from the router downstairs. We recently upgraded to 1mbit broadband, before the upgrade i constnatly received 24mbps of net connection, now we've upgraded it skips between 24, 34 and 54 mbps! Is there anyway i can keep it at one strength or boost the signal to the maximum! So i am constantly recieving 54mbps!

| Super Techie | What model router are you using? what model belkin adaptor are you using? Are you using a laptop and moving around with it, or is it staying in one place at all times? Check this out, if you are running xp without service pack 2. it is not entire the same problem since your speed drops rather than being lost totally. http://www.sydneywireless.com/?p=777
