Default Windows-Linux Folder Sharing Woes

I'm having problems accessing Windows shared folders with my Ubuntu 7.04 laptop. Occasionally it works fine; however, often I get an error message:

"The folder contents cannot be displayed.
Sorry, couldn't display all the contents of "Windows Network: *name*"."

I'm not sure what the problem is. Occasionally it does seem to work, and sometimes restarting SAMBA seems to fix it temporarily, but I'm wondering if there is something I can change to stop this error message.

Thanks for your help.
