Default Windows File Sharing Not Working...

I am using 2 Windows XP Home SP2 computers in my home and a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router. I have my computer connected directly to the router and the second computer connects via wireless pci card. Although I doubt this is a hardware issue. It took me about a year, off and on to actually get one of the computers to work with file sharing. I have gone through the Network Setup Wizard a thousand times. The wireless computer is able to share files and it can see the other computer on the network but when I try to access it I get an error that I do not have permission. The computer that is connected directly to the router can see the other computer on the network and access shared files. I've enabled everything I can think of to get it to work. Can anyone help me?

Are you using Administrator access? It may not be possible without it. Your probably just on a Power User account. If this is the case...

Start the computer in safe mode. Log in as Adminstrator. Right click the folders you want to access. Click Properties, and Security tab, then Ownership tab. Transfer ownership rights to all users (Make it easier on yourself) Do this on both computers. Restart both computers and try the networking again.

I was only able to do that on the computer I am trying to share files from, for the other computer is in use. I couldn't figure out how to transfer ownership rights to all users. I am running WinXP Home Edition. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But I am still getting that error. I changed all of the rights of the Shared Folder for everyone though to Full Access.

Not to sound rude or anything, but it is the truth, I've already said twice I am using Windows XP Home Edition. So yes, both computers have simple file sharing enabled.

Well... Does anyone else have any suggestions? Like registry changes or services that I may have disabled? Something?
