If allowed I already started a thread called SBC and Roadrunner do not want you to have cheap broadband or something allong those lines.

I dont really understand the question really. Ultimately it comes down to one thing why does any comapny charge for any of its services? money. What makes the world go round?money. Businesses exsist to make....yea you get the point

Also without the profits where'd the money come from the all the R&D to make the next generation of internet access?
56ks and Adsl didn't just one day appear. Tho sure feels like it at times
