Default when i go into my computer and click on C drive search window opens

Hi, I have win XP Pro on my computer..
when I get into my computer and click on C Drive search results window opens up in place of the C drive

plz help me with this

right-click on the C-drive, and click open

sounds like something could have edited the registry and changed the target

I knew I read somewhere about this problem. It does seem like the problem is your registry got all screwy. I had the same problem when I tried to make a new right click "make new folder using today's date" opition. That might not be what screwed your registry up, but the steps you find here should fix the problem anyways....remember to always back up your registry before fiddling with it.
