Question what is the difference between...

exclusions and reservations within a DHCP server scope?

i am just curious. i need to know for a project for schol

Exclusion Range in DHCP - say Static addresses or to exclude other subnet
addresses from dynamically being assigned.

Use reservations when you want the same client (mac address of the nic) to
always get the same ip address. Sort of like a static address handed out
from the DHCP Server. That way you will always know the address of that
client, since it has an ip address reservation.
