| hello everyone. I am new to this board but I have been browsing it for a while. I recently moved to a new dorm room on my campus that only has a wireless connection for computers. This wouldn't be a problem as I would just buy a wireless card to get the connection but I also have an xbox that I want to connect to the schools network to gain access to Xbox live. So my question is what product should I buy to gain connections for both of these. I was thinking that the best thing would be something like a wireless router and just run too cat5 cables from that to both the xbox and the computer seeing as how I wouldn't have to buy anything else for my computer. But I am not to knowledgable on this so I turn to you all for answers. What would be the best thing to get, and which would be the best for bang for my buck. Thanks in Advance Van |

| Dope Tech | in theory i think it should work. the tough spot would be connecting the two access points. You'd prolly have to turn off dhcp on the router and have it connect to the schools ap for an ip addy.
