WEP problem

Everytime I assign a WEP password on my wireless modem router, all the computers that are connected to my modem router won't be able to access the internet!

All it shows on the Connection Status window says that an Automatic Private Address is assigned on it. Is there something that I have to do on the modem router or on my computer to allow me to go online!

Sounds to me like you are changing it on only one and not the other....?

When you set/generate the WEP key on your router you need to set the wireless adapter setting to the EXACT SAME WEP for them to gain access to the wireless domain.

Am I misunderstanding what you are asking?
