Weird problem with DELL and wireless ?!

I am having a wierd problem . Two Dell laptops , both detected a wireless network . One ( with Win XP )can access the internet throught it , and the other ( with Win Vista ) can see it only as a local network and cant access the internet.

Both laptops are with defualt settings . Any ideas ?

sounds like on that second one there is a problem with dns resolution or your default gateway, run command prompt and tpe ipconfig /all

for some reason, experienced this with dells at work, sometime you can even manually enter the gateway and for some reason it wont get associated with the ipconfig

I ipconfiged it , entered ip and DNS manually , though nothing changed...still local !

Am I picking the right path or what ? Any more suggestions ?
