Default We are all going to die!!

Random title. Has anyone else noticed that there are alot of sites down tonight - yahoo, google and ebay? I tried pinging them and it works fine, it has been happening to my friend as well, who is on a different ISP

Is there something wrong with the internet tonight? (I am just wondering.)

Trif.

I just notice http://opera.com works, but http://www.opera.com doesn't. Just like someone else posted in another thread today.

When you tried pinging... were you using domain name, or IP Address? If the IP is pingable, but the domain name ISN'T, it COULD be a DNS issue, in which case, I would suggest contacting your ISP.

I am sure I can ping their IP, otherwise none of those links would work. I will wait, maybe it is just a temporary problem.
