User Locked Out of Account....Its Weird Though....

at the moment at home I have a small office network setup
1 server, 2 desktops, a laptop, wireless router and cable modem.

I only had 1 of the desktops on and the laptop on...
I had my wife log onto her account on the desktop...which she hasnt logged onto in days and it says her account was locked out.

So I go in and unlock it and check the security logs
now right before she was on the desktop she was on the laptop surfing the net

when I investigage further by checkin out the specifics and highlighting and clicking properties on the individual audits.....

Is this a normal workgroup or active directory domain? Because when you said your have a server and that your wife can log on the laptop and desktop with her user name I assume it was an active directory domain you have at your home.

"failed. The error code was: 3221226036" Just said she tried to logon to an account that was locked. It could of been locked because it expired or to many bad attempt at logging in. I see like 13 attempts.

its not active directory

she was doing work on her laptop the whole day
she did not try to access any resources on the server and when she went to log onto the desktop thats what happened
