Default Symantec Updates

I need a script or batch file command to execute twice a day on our networked users to update their antivirus definitions. Is there a way to reach out to the symantec servers and download the virus definitions when the batch file or script is executed? If so, can you give me the commands to do so? Thanks WM

Why not just set it to automatically update, norton virus scanner have that feature.

Oh I see, you must be concern about security issue and just want to control the update twice a day?
