do mobos have network capabilities built in?

ie: Abit KN8 SLI nF4 Audio/GB-LAN/USB/PCI-E/SATA3G/DDR/ATX/64 939

in this example i'm guessing there's integrated sound, usb connectors, and so forth, but is there an ethernet connector? i'm wondering do i have to purchase and install a separate network adapter to use the internet? :o

yep it's got a network card, GB-LAN = a gigabit network card
