Default Smart Sensor Networks

Are smart sensor networks and wireless sensor networks the same thing?

What are the individual sensors made up of?(ex: silicon chips)

What are some big points about smart sensor networks that I should include in a 15 minute powerPoint presentation?

Why don't you tell us what they are..... I can only imagine that this is for something for school or work... You don't have any kind of background you can provide on this?

(it isn't going to be a very good presentation if you aren't familiar with what you are speaking of.... ie: reading text off of a slide...)
