Satellite Splice?? Perhaps...??
Hey Guys,
I know I can splice off cable connection....
But....I was wondering....is it possible to splice off Satellite??
the same way and run a cable from the satellite convertor through a cable modem?..please say yes

A cable modem requires the service to be activated by the cable company, it's not just as easy as plugging it in. So no, this will not work at all.

alot of cable modems require activation like josh says, but run it through a router, mess with the settings and look around the net for tips and you'll hit jackpot.
