Default router problem

i had a problem in the wireless forum but i think i fixed that problem, my new problem is that i have 2 computers connected to a wireless network but when they are both on the both run very slow, my bro's comp gets a transfer rate of about 400 bytes per second, i get about 25kb/s i have 1.5mb cable and a belkin router, any ideas what i could have messed up with it?

duplex speed should be a setting for the nic not the protocol.
