Default RECOMMENDATION? Wireless router long range

As you can tell by my handle I am clueless. I just got broadband at my house, but my shop is below the hill and I couldn't get it there. I am looking to connect with a wireless router. I need it to reach outdoors 500' with a few tree branches in between. I can cut out a tunnel most of the way but I'd like to leave a few branches toward the house so the tunnel is not as visible.

I currently have satellite internet at my shop but after seeing tyhe speed of the broadband I have to switch. The time savings will pay for the equipment in no time.

What would you suggest as the best set-up for my use?

What components do I need?

Can the router antennas all be inside or do i need external antennas?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

THANKS!!!

You cant do that without putting repeaters half-way down the hill. Wireless N, the best option for consumers, only goes roughly 200ft.
