hello, first of all i'd like to say sorry for my english! but please try to understand what i'm saying! i will try to keep it simple..lol.

Anyway,

I am moving into a new house in few weeks time. A room of that new house(my room) does not have a Phone socket in it! So i will not be able to connect to the internet from my room.(i can't get an extension)

Is there a way of solving this??? I thought about a wirless phone. But I'm not sure if they allow you to connect to the internet(without the need for the socket of ofcourse).

Well do they allow???!!! please say yes! lol Does the wirless phones has a socket in it to which to connect the necessary wires?

You could add cable up to your room

Your room probably has phone wires going through the walls. Can you ask someone that knows to punch a small whole in the wall and fish the wire out? In other words to make you a new socket.

If you have another computer near a phone line you could set that up with ICS then beam the signal wirelessly. Only downside of that is that the computer hosting the connection would always have to be on.
