Default outlook and xp pro wireless card issue

Recently had to reinstall os on the work comp. Have 2 issues now.

1. I hadn't realised outlook express was used for one of the email accounts.

2. The wireless pci card gets stuck on acquiring network address.

As for the outlook issues, The email address is

info@art-techniques.co.uk

The website its associated with (i think) is

Smart Art!

and thats hosted by uk2.net

I didn't set any of this up originally and the person who did has long since been non-contactable. How do I go about getting the pop3/smtp addresses and account name and password to set this up again ?

/////////////////////////////////////

Second issue being the wireless. Its a Ralink EW - 7128g (802.11g) PCI card that i banged in a while back. Installed the software fine and used the cards software to find and connect to the wireless network (a netgear router from sky incidently) the lil wireless icon appears in the system tray saying aquiring network address and thats where it stays. If just sticks here indefinatly, trying to connect properly. As it happens there was still a copy of xp home on one of the partitions (used xp pro for reinstall) so i went into home and bang, connected fine without incident. Considering im using a fresh install of xp pro I cant understand why it dosn't connect. I have tried using zero config tool and maing sure thats off to use the provided tool with the card but no help :\

Thanks

Is the problem with your wireless only at work? Have you contacted the local admin to have them look at it? My guess would be that perhaps there is wireless security in place, and that is preventing you from connecting.
