Default orinoco gold card, wont work
my new orinoco gold card i bought off ebay says its installed properly, but when i run programs such as winC and netstumbler in the same room as my wireless modem, it doesnt pick anything up. can someone help me, do i need different drivers?

You need a firmware upgrade for the orinoco card. I had problems with my Orinoco card w/ netstumbler.

I fixed it, but can someone tell me why windows wireless networks has never worked. I have windows xp home on both comps, and Netgear MA111 on both. I use the software that came wth it, and even with "use windows to configure my network settings" when i click view wireless networks, nothing comes up, and i know there are networks available.
