| My router just died and I was looking to get another one anyways so I'm wondering what opinions people have on the Linksys WRT600N? All of my other networking devices are Linksys so I would like to stick with them. I have a Vista/XP desktop machine(wired), XP laptop(wireless connection), XBox 360(wired) and would like to connect and share a USB printer over the network using the USB port on the router if possible(which I'm pretty sure it is). Anybody know if the XBox 360 has a 1GB LAN port? I assume it does, and my other devices do which is a main reason to get this router for streaming files and such. I read a review by one person that said they couldn't open ports on the router to open up NAT for XBox Live? Any truth to this, I don't see why you couldn't, it was EASY on my WRT54G. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with this router or any other reasons to stay away. I've been entertaining the idea of using some 3rd party firmware on my new router too, is there any out there for this router? I see that this router doesn't have QoS(I wish it did) but I assume it still has the Port Priority like the old WRT54G. I would like that so I can give my XBox 360 highest priority on the network when I'm on Live. Thanks, Joel

| Hello, I have not heard of anything about that router. But i have heard great things about the router that is a step up from your current one. The WRT54GL. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper IT comes highly recommended by many members of the forum as they use it as well. That could be a alternative for you as well. I am always worried about the N router cause the N signal is still in Draft stages and not finalized. So the current hardware might not work with the final N stuff when it comes out. Cheers, Mak
