Default network setup

Its been a while since i have been out of school. My Uncle is opening a new business and wants me to setup his network. There will be one server and to start 2 workstation computers and prob end eventually at 5. That part of the setup i can handle. I am conserned with the security aspect of it. They are getting satalite internet through a local provider. It comes in through the dish, and into a 4 port cisco router. Is that secure enough or should i think about running more of a firewall. They will be using active directory and exchange for email.

here is what the layout will look like

internet
|
router
|
server
| |
workstation workstation

Any suggestions on either hardware or software for more security.

Also can will it work to have all on one server, dns, dhcp, active diretory, and exchange.

any other suggestions on the setup are welcome. thanks for your help guys

If money is not a problem, purchase a hardware firewall.

D-Link

This would work just fine for a small to medium business.

Cisco routers will provide far greater security than a cheap *** d-link product.

What cisco router, if you add me to msn I can help you config it for security, up to NSA standards
