hey guys, i'm a network newb and being the only really computer literate person in the house have been tasked with setting up a wireless network between a laptop and the computer, as well as wireless internet,

now i was wondering since i hadnt done this before, what kind of things i'll need to do, what i'll need to have, things i should know, how to do it etc. i'd appircate greatly if you guys could help me out,

1) high speed internet ie dsl or cable.
2) wireless dsl or cable router.
3) wireless cards on the computers that do not have buit in wireless unless they will be hard wired.
4) do some reading on securing a wireless network.
