Hello, i have a small network problem in which i cant access PC2 from PC3 and visa versa, they cant contact each other in anyway, all the PC's can be seen in the same workgroup from each PC, all this will become clear in the diagram below.



The green arrows indicate the PC's that can talk to each other, and the red arrow the PC's that can not.

I'm not very good at explaining things, if you require any more info just gimme a shout.

When you say "Access" do you mean view/share files and folders ?
Do you have all 3 machines setup the same : ex: sp2 and firewalls ?

Make sure you dont have the windows firewalls activated on those machines. You may even want to turn off your AV for these tests.

Can you ping the machine you are trying to access ?
Have you unshared then re-shared the folders ?
Have you set the "Everyone" group to full permissions ?

No firewalls on any of the PC's, with the IP addresses configured manually, i have also tried assigning them IP's automatically but the same problem.

You may even want to turn off your AV for these tests.

Tried it with Anti-Viruses turned off, still no luck.
