Default netstat

i ran a netstat when yahoo msngr was on once....tryn to see if i could catch my pals who were invisible, and guess the persons ip in context with the isp name. the problem is....some ppl dont show...that i have 4 ppl online.....among those, only 2 show up. (even when visible) some have their ips masked....(but some ip shows up)? why cant i see them all?

I don't think you'll be able to see thier IP address until they are some how connected to you. Their machine would have to make a established connection. What you are probably seeing is the address of yahoo servers. That would mean you need direct connection. I think but I may be wrong. I think all communication go through yahoo server before it reaches the end.
