Hi,

Go with a Cisco product. I.E. Lynksis. You really do get what you pay for.

I have had problems with cable modem compatibilty with Belkin and Linksys....they just don't seem to play well with your average cable modem.Go get a Netgear, they seem very diverse and extremely solid. On Belkin and Linksys I've had all sorts of problems from unassigned IP addresses to incompatible voltage levels between ports.NETGEAR!!!
