It looks like monday is the day that I will move from 9600 baud dial-up to 4mbps cable with Cox communications. Look at this speed test and see for yourself how its been the past few months for me.

ha, once you go broadband, you'll never wanna go back. I fear the day that i lose my broadband connection.

I wonder how long it will be before dial-up ISPs go bankrupt. The only thing that keeps them in business are people like I was till recently and can not get cable or DSL. Also, tightwads who dont want to pay for broadband usually go dial-up. However, DSL is getting so cheap that if you have it as an option in your area, its a no-brainer to go DSL.

I sure hope this actually gets done on Monday...i have been too long without broadband!
