I purchased a USB 1.1 Direct Link cable by Genesys Logic. I am connecting a Win 2000 Pro to Win XP Pro. I installed all drivers on both PCs. I successfully transferred 3 .doc files then I tried something "bigger". I tried to transfer about 50 .mp3 files. The program froze up (GeneLink 1.13a) and then I tried to restart it and connect but it wouldn't. I' have tried reinstalling the drivers and such but with no luck. Can anyone help? Currently it says that it is reading the other computer's files and then for a split second something appears in the "Remote Desktop". But it almost instantly disappears and I get nothing. It's almost like something is cutting the line right after connection is established. This is only a guess though. I tried to find support on the Genesys website but I can't find anything. Is it possible to use a diffrent program or does windows come with anything I can use? Thanks for the help.
