| I was using my laptop and the last thing I did was went to microsoft.com and update a few files it made me reset my computer now I can't get IE to locate any webpages but I can ping websites I have tried to use the microsoft diagnose thing it offers it always comes back saying it can't find an issue I thought maybe a wireless issue I then connected by wired... and still nothing.. my other desktop can get online fine.. can anyone think of a setting that could of changed.. and by the way It won't let me restore to a checkpoint I get that no changes were made to your computer sorry but I am king of the run on sentences Jspot |

| Is this IE7 or 6? What it is, uninstall IE7 from add/remove, which should revert back to IE6. If you have IE6, click on add/remove, add/remove windows components, uncheck IE6, uninstall it, then go back in and recheck it so it installs. LEt me know what happens |
