In some markets, there is a 40GB per month cap on standard 4000/512 Cox HSI customers. I am not sure if my area is one of these, I really want to find out. However, if you upgrade to the 5000/768 package you don't have the cap.

I was never told about a cap when I signed up 2 years ago. If there is a cap, I've never hit it, and I've downloaded a lot of junk.

Most of those prices look good, do you have to purchase some kind of group plan? My ISP will drop the price a good $15 - 20 if you get long distance, blah, blah, blah but the price is high if you get basic phone service & internet

Yeah most of these look pretty good. I am surprised at the results that people have posted. I was expecting some lower speeds such as 384kbps, etc...maybe even some dial-uppers..

$40 for 384/384!!! That is outrageos. Its better than what I was paying on my last broadband service though, which was $85 for 256/64!

Heh. I live in a rual neigborhood, I was surprised I could even get it. The next step up is a little better: 1.5/512 for $50 I think. And the not-so-local cable comapny (Adelphia) forbids web servers, so they are not an option. Even though cable would be enticing, there is probably practically no one on the cable branch way out here. Gratz on the broadband, BTW.
