hughes net sattelite internet?

I just want to know if people with sattelite internet are having similar difficulties as I am for example:

- some webpages just wont load at all
- you always get a page cannot be found or connection was reset error on a certain page or website everytime.
- some files you try and download just wont go through because you get a error message saying something about corrupt or missing files.

just want people to tell me if they are in the same rut as me.

well I cant get any further than the home page on newegg, when I try and download almost everything. I have to try multiple mirrors, and many different sites to get it to go through.

In fact I cant even get to support chat or emial site for hughesnet itself

Can you open up command prompt and ping these IP address and see if you get any reply.

well I finally got through to the support chat with hughes and they set my LAN settings to some proxy server stuf and I lowered my security setting, so far so good
