How to remotely connect to another pc?

I want to remotely connect to another computer which is in another city and send some files. I know the I.P. Address of that system. Both the system are internet enabled. But I'm not looking to use free uploading sites.

Any suggestions how can I do that? Thanks.

VPN, RDP, VNC.

I would say depending on the size of the files there are lot of things you can try...

for instance, MSN messanger does do the job well
