Can we directly network Mac OS X with Windows Xp?

And how do we go about doing it?

Would like to be able to file share.

And if I can printer share with out having in purchasing an deadicated printer server would be nice too.

I haven't done this many times to be any sort of expert on it, but it did seem quite trivial. TCP/IP was all that it took. Just also make sure that the nodes are on the same IP schematic.
Oh, I remember another tech that I worked with telling me that the times on the machines in a p2p network have to be relatively close together. I never had any problems with this but.....I do respect his experience.
