Soo.. you'd like us to do your research for you?

Actually, Yahoo small business has some pretty good web hosting deals.. but I'm sure you could find better. Just do your own research.

Free and without banners is a tough one. I'm sure some other members will chime with a few hosts. Most of the decent free hosts I have come by aren't around or free anymore for one reason or another. If you find the paid services lacking, send me an e-mail.

If you are serious about your site, I would consider a paid service. For obvious reasons, they would be far more relaible and helpful than free ones.

Hosting is dirt cheap these days, your morning starbucks is more expensive than a months worth of hosting...

www.ehostsource.com - these guys are decent, $5.75/m, 500mb space, 50gb bandwidth, LAMP (linux, apache, mysql, php), 20 subdomanis, email, ftp, etc

Also, if you have the extra cash you could throw together a capable sever system and host it yourself.

But Jinexile's right, paid services are dirt cheap for reasonable bandwidth and services. If I were you, I'd just set aside the meager $5-$8 bucks a month for the service.
You could always save the money by cancelling your "International Male" magazine subscriptions.
