Ok, when i try to enable internet connection sharing on my laptop with my desk top i get an error that says:

an error occurred while internet connection sharing was being enabled
internet connection sharing cannot be enabled
a LAN connection is already configured with the ip address
that is required for automatic ip addresing

But the lan connection is disabled.
And the checkbox next to the internet connection sharing is not checked for LAN. I have both PC's connedted via 1394 firewire. What i want to do is have the laptop connect to the internet via wireless and have my desktop connected to laptop via 1394 firewire and share the wireless internet connecton. All of the services required for internet connection sharing are enabled.

ICS on the server side always uses 192.168.0.1 (So if you already have a device on that tiny network using 192.168.0.1 then there will be a conflict. Change the 192.168.0.1 address to something else.
