Default Help with gigantic ping [sometimes]

So, every once in a while (most commonly on Mondays though) I start pinging about 300 to every server in the world. I live in Pennsylvania and these giant pings to even local servers. This a screen shot of the ping trace from my house to a New Jersey server while experiencing these high pings. I tried ping tracing from three different computers on my network and I get the same results. Also, I called my ISP and asked them to connect to my modem and do a ping trace to the same server and they get the same result, without any actual help on the subject. I'm a gamer and the 300 ping is something I have to fix, quick, for the sake of crabs. Drizzt5 sent me to ask for some help. I would absolutely adore the man who helps me solve this problem. If no one has a solution for me, I'll just call my ISP and tell them to get their *** down here and fix my internets! :] Thanks for any help in advanced.

Hello,

What is your ISP? It could be that you get throttled at certain times. It could also be that using a cable connection that you share with the neighbors help slow you down.

You could try to reset your router and modem. See if it helps at all.

Cheers,
Mak

I would think it is a congested trunk somewhere in the ISP's network.... Not really much you can do there though. Any friends/neighbors in the same area getting similar results at the same time?

Well, I bought a new modem... lol. And as for a congestion, the only solution is a new isp?

Well, according to the screen-shot results, that appears to be where the problem is starting.. unfortunately.
