Default Getting Xbox wireless adapter to work with Netgear WGR614v6 Wireless Router

Please help...I have a Netgear WGR614v6 wireless router and a Xbox with the microsoft oem wireless adapter. I can't get the Xbox to get receive an IP address from the router and therfore cannot access xbox live. When I check the settings in the xbox dashboard it shows it is connected to the network but has no IP address. I am using 64bit WEP and the automatic DHCP and it keeps saying it can't find the DNS server. I tried to manually assign the xbox an IP address but that didn't work either. Is there some router setting i'm missing?? How can I get the router to assign the xbox adapter an IP address so it can access the internet? All other devices receive an IP address just fine. I usually have a laptop connected and a TIVO connected and they both connect easily. Any ideas?
