i have a question
does anyone know of a ftp program allows the username and password to be inbedded in the link that you would send to a user

why not just allow anonymous login?

i know you can use ftp://username@ftp.myftp.com, but that user would still be prompted for a pwd

Yes you can...in the same fasion as stated above:

"ftp://username: password@ftp.yourftpsite.com"

Without the space in between the colon and the password, of course..... but I couldn't place the colon in there without the text looking like this ""

what is a good ftp program to use tho that is really secure and that has this feature
