Default eth0 not recognized

Hi,

I have installed Fedora Core 4 on my IBM Think Pad R52. While trying to boot I get a message eth0 cannot activate......delaying initialization "

Any pointers ? Thanx

Is your network using DHCP or static assignment? Try doing lspci to see if the network card is listed then dmesg to see what you get for eth0.
