I want to send a message through Hotmail and i want to encrypt this message can you give me steps to do this

The best way to do it would be to get some kind of encryption software like Finecrypt, avalibale from http://www.finecrypt.net/. The problem with that is that the person at the recieving end will also need to install the software. However it will be very secure.
