Default dsl modem

sort of a hardware question...directed towards bellsouth users...

i received a dsl modem for bellsouths dsl lite (256 Kbps/128 Kbps), then moved to an area where i couldnt use it. now i live within the dsl limits and was wondering if bellsouth would require me to get a different modem for the dsl ultra (1.5 Mbps/256 Kpbs)...

my phone account hasnt been switched yet so i can't find out til' later but need to know now...

you may need to re-enter your ISP settings if need be though.
