Dish Network Sattelite Internet-Just As High Pinged As All Sattelite?
Is dish networks new sattelite internet just as high pinged as say direcway/hughesnet? currently i have dial up, and my choice is that or sattelite due to my location. I have tried direcway, and the ping is way to high for gaming, even higher then dial up, and im a very into gaming.

I don't know what the ping times are for this service, but there IS something you could do.... Give them a call to see if there is a 'Service Level Agreement', which would give 'acceptable' ping times end-to-end. This might not be something that they offer or gaurentee though.
