Default Dial Up Disconnect Prompt

I am using Windows XP and a dialup connection. Until recently I would get a prompt to disconnect when I close all browser windows. I no longer get that prompt. I would like this back. I have cheked the "disconnect if Idle" option but to no avail. Can someone offer ideas?

I think when I did it I went Control Panel >Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click your connection, click Settings, and then click Advanced. Then check 'Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed'
