Default Desktop Hijacked

someone please help me fix my hijacked desktop. I tired adware se pro and still no help. Here is a screen shot of the situation please help me.

Well since you reformatted 3 days ago, you shouldnt have a problem reformatting now.

As for those shady sites, I recomend FireFox instead of internet explorer.

Try downloading "Hijack This".

It saved me from reformatting a couple of times.

Just because you have mozilla does not mean it will prevent spyware.
Did you configure mozilla??? If you did not, that is why.

Firefox is only good if it is configured to stop spyware. Also I would not get those Anti-Spyware programs, the people that spread spyware also make and market those programs. I recommend Bazooka Scanner. It is free. Also I would just format the whole **** thing. You really cant get rid of all spyware, traces of it are still left in your registry and in other places. And for future reference, I would do a format, and install windows, then make an image of your disk, and whenever something like this happens again you can restore the image.

Follow these steps.

1) Download HijackThis by going here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html .

2) Install and run a scan.

3) Copy and paste the ENTIRE LOG to a new thread by going here: http://www.tech-forums.net/newthread...ad&forumid=126 .
